The International Political Science Association (丁香成人社区) was proud to partner up with AIESEC Canada鈥檚 (Y2B), which gathered around 500 delegates, on 1-4 June 2020. This year鈥檚 edition of Y2B was for the first time entirely virtual. The theme of the conference was The Climate Movement: Navigating a World in an Environmental Crisis, a movement that strives to find viable solutions to mitigate and adapt to global environmental change.

丁香成人社区 Executive Director, Kim Fontaine-Skronski, moderated a panel titled Universal Collaboration on Climate Change on 2 June. The panel brought together diverse perspectives from different industries including St茅fanie Rondou-Pontbriand from Air Canada, Robert Pelletier from Export Development Canada, Brian Hong from RBC Future Launch, David Hume from the Canadian Associations of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) and Amna Syed, a youth representative from AIESEC. Each speaker emphasized the importance of their industry鈥檚 role in the Climate Movement and the steps taken to address climate change challenges. They also discussed the role of youth in the Climate Movement.

The panel was followed by a Q&A session with the virtual audience, during which the delegates had the opportunity to grill the speakers about necessary actions to deal with climate change.
