Job Description

The Department of Politics and International Studies (PIS) at International Christian University (ICU), is pleased to announce an open search for a full-time faculty position in International Relations with a particular focus on Global Governance (esp. global environmental politics and sustainability, international migration), International Political Economy and Global Development. 

One of Japan's leading private universities, ICU provides bilingual liberal arts education in a culturally and religiously diverse international community of students, faculty and staff.  The successful applicant should be a PhD holder with a track record of publications in International Relations (or the potential to develop one) and is expected to teach general education, foundation, and area major courses in the College of Liberal Arts, as well as courses in the Graduate School in both Japanese and English.

 

Position: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor 

Qualifications: 

1. Ph.D. or equivalent in International Relations or a related field is required. 

2. Language of instruction: English and Japanese
