One-Day Workshop, ‘From Ideas to Impact: Exploring Public Policy Processes,’ on 10 December 2024, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.

Research Committee 48 (Administrative Culture), International Political Science Association, The Water Policy Centre, Aurangabad, India and the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad are pleased to announce a One-Day Workshop, ‘From Ideas to Impact: Exploring Public Policy Processes,’ scheduled for 10th December 2024 at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. This workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in hybrid mode and is designed for academicians, policymakers, researchers, students, community leaders, NGO representatives, and anyone interested in the public policy process. 

Workshop Highlights
*Introduction & Icebreaker: Networking activity (POLICY CONNECT);
*Understanding Public Policy: Overview of concepts, types, and the policy cycle;
*Stakeholder Identification: Government agencies, NGOs, and their roles;
*Evidence-Based Policy Making: Data sources and case study review;
*Policy Formulation and Analysis: Techniques like cost-benefit and SWOT analysis;
*Implementation Challenges: Strategies for overcoming barriers;

Expected Outcomes
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of public policy processes, improve their skills in policy analysis and stakeholder engagement, and learn techniques to formulate, implement, and evaluate policies effectively. Join us for an engaging workshop with 8 interactive sessions anchored by seasoned bureaucrats, young policymakers, experienced academicians in public policy, and experts in cost-benefit analysis. Registration Fees
DELEGATES PARTICIPATING ONLINE & THOSE FROM SAARC (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) COUNTRIES ARE EXEMPT FROM PAYMENT. TRAVEL GRANTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY CATEGORY OF DELEGATES. However, we can provide partial grants to delegates from SAARC countries, on receipt of Boarding pass. Printout of ticket booking is not permissible. Economy class fare in the lower priced airlines is a must.

ix. Accommodation and Hospitality:  Will be provided to all registered delegates from the 9th evening to the 11th morning at MNLUA, Nath Valley School Road, Kanchanwadi, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, 431005.

x.  CERTIFICATION
CERTIFICATE of Participation will be provided to all registered delegates who participate in the workshop with the logo of the International Political Science Association, MNLUA and the Water Policy Centre.
